Marten River Provincial Park: A Southern Gateway to Temagami

If you are looking for a great destination to visit this summer, consider Marten River Provincial Park.

Located in Northeastern Ontario, the 400 hectares park is located by the hamlet of Marten River in the municipality of Temagami and is a great area for canoeists, boaters, hikers, and anglers.

Campsites accommodate tents and large trailers, offer electrical hookup, and amenities such as water taps, comfort stations and laundry facilities.

While at the park, you can enjoy remnants stands of massive pines on the many hiking trails, including a 350 year old White Pine located on the Transition Trial.

Swim at one of the three natural sand beaches, play a beach volleyball game or an exciting game of horseshoes with the family.

The park offers a 19th century replica logging camp for all to enjoy and explore, with an array of logging artifacts, blacksmith’s shop, stable, bunkhouse and much more, it truly is a must see!
