Apple Cheddar Raisin Pie Iron Sandwiches

Upgrade your grilled cheese game with this delicious cinnamon raisin sandwich made in the pie iron!


? 2 slices of cinnamon raisin bread

? 1 tablespoon butter

? Several thin slices of an apple

? 1-2 slices of sharp cheddar cheese


✔️ Preheat the pie iron for about 2 minutes

✔️ Butter one side of a slice of bread. Top the slice (the side with no butter) with some of the cheddar, apple slices and more cheddar. Place the other slice of bread on top and spread with butter.

✔️ Place the sandwich in the pie iron and close it. Put the pie iron in the fire for a minute or two, flip to the other side and cook for another minute or two. The sandwich is ready when the cheese has melted and the bread is golden brown.
